For Advocates for Wrongfully Convicted (A4WC) to accept a case we have to be 110% certain that the convicted person we're looking at is actually innocent; a not guilty finding is not a condition in which we can accept a case. We always go into a case assuming the convicted person is guilty; the evidence has to show us he is innocent.
We have absolute certaintly in David Thorne's actual innocence and that is why we have accepted his case.
